Free People Black Sequin Blazer

Update: totally just found this blazer on shopbop.com for $84 – a good reminder t0 always shop around!

I never thought I’d be recommending an all-sequin blazer, but here I am doing exactly that. I always thought all-sequin clothing was for gambling grandmas in AC or show girls in Vegas, but I have to admit this blazer is pretty darn classy. The cut is fab and I love the rouching on the sleeves.

Would go well with distressed jeans, whether skinny, straight leg, or boyfriend. Could also wear it with a dress or skirt. Versatile, and marked down to $117.99 from $168.

These sandals are bad. And in the words of LL Cool J, not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good. Yeah. $478

Free People Flirt Tutu Skirt

If you’ve always wanted a tutu, now’s your chance. This one is marked down to $19.95 from $58 at freepeople.com. It also comes in Black and Moonbeam, but we all know tutus are supposed to be pink.

The design of these shoes is unique and interesting all on it’s own. I could see them with a plain turquoise or marigold wrap dress and the most basic accessories. $635.

Newport News Two Tone Flats

Was really tempted to rhyme the title, but I successfully resisted.

These, plus skinnies or tights, equals fabulous. Don’t forget your cigarette holder. Soon I’m going to like something without black or white in it.

Free People Chiffon Bib

Cute, unique piece to add to your wardrobe. Aside from wearing it over a tank, it would also go well with a boyfriend jacket or cardigan. $19.95, marked down from $58.

Anthropologie Beda Dress

The simplicity of this dress is perfect. I’d keep it really simple with a pair of stud earrings and white rimmed sunglasses. Bright colored, patterned, or textured ballet flats or sandals would make it interesting, but I’d be careful to keep the line simple. $118.

How many times can I say simple in one post?

Gap Real Straight Jeans

I want these jeans!

I still like boot cut jeans. They serve their purpose in my life, but I’ve been wearing them since the 90’s. I like skinny jeans. They’re cute and “modern” even though they’re pretty much the same exact thing as stretch jeans from the 80’s (ok, they may be updated a little).

My favorite cut right now is straight legs. A nice slim profile, without being skin tight from the hip to the ankle, gripping every inch of my leg like skinnies. Straight leg jeans can be worn with booties, knee high boots, heels, flats, and they’re cuffable, so they’re pretty versatile.

These Gap Real Straight Jeans look pretty perfect. Love the cut, the waist, the wash. They’re $69.50, which isn’t bad, but I do love sales. So adding Gap to Shop It To Me right now.
