Real Deal 70′s Style
I’m sure you’ve heard that 70′s fashion is once again “in” – I’m a little late as usual. I’ve loved 70′s fashion since I can remember – bell bottoms, high waists, platform shoes, rich colors – what’s not to love? Instead of looking to the runway, celebrities, or modernized versions of 70′s looks for inspiration, I prefer to go back in time. To TV, movies, magazines, art, album covers, advertising, and best of all family photos – to see what people were really wearing.

Going in for The Kill
Aside from the fact that it’s a bit short, this is one of my favorite dresses. I bought it for it’s potential versatility – a neutral color and simple cut, it can be worn plenty of different ways.

100 Ways to Wear Scarves
My count may not be exact…but there are many, many, many ways to use scarves to extend your wardrobe. I love scarves in various colors, fabrics, and textures, and I wear them in all different ways all year around.
The Poufiest Skirt I Own
So yeah…I’m wearing this belt again. Hopefully that shows its versatility…or maybe just that I really like it. A friend gave it to me on a mini shopping trip in Soho. I had no idea at the time how much I would wear it, but it’s become a wardrobe staple. It pretty much goes with everything, or at least I think it does.

The Miracle Belt
I originally bought this dress as a basic layering piece, after being super inspired by a post on What Would a Nerd Wear. I got it at Ross and thought the price was fair. Considering that the least expensive dress on the Max Studio website is £15 right now and I paid $18 for this one, I didn’t do too badly.
