Wild West
These cowboy boots from Target are one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They have definitely seen better days at this point – the heels are run down and the not-so-leather-like material has worn off in places. They’re still passable worn under jeans though, and wear them I do.

Solid Gold

Ravishing (Rick) Red
I’m pretty sure my sister gave me this jacket. I don’t think I’ve ever worn it, even though it’s awesome, because it doesn’t fit that well. Thanks to Tania of What Would a Nerd Wear though, I learned to criss-cross the front of a too big jacket, cardi or shirt and belt it for instant flattering fit. Yes!

Happy New Year…
I spent this New Year’s Eve with family, culminating with an impromptu slumber party with my mom. I can’t think of a better way I would have liked to start the year. I’m looking forward to finding out what 2011 will bring.

It is a million degrees out but…
I still want this jacket! Nordstrom.com says the fabric is lightweight, and it’s freezing in my office, so it makes perfect sense to buy it now…wait it’s sold out! Alas, still great style inspiration.
